History

Hildegard is a known figure in Eorzea. Having started the Garlean Refugee Co-Operative in the years following the revolutions in Doma and Gyr Abania, she is a talented diplomat and administrator. Her connections and tireless pursuit of the restoration of the Garlean Republic made her the first Gyr Abanian Senator of Garlemald. A provinicial risen well above her station.

Personality

Hildegard is the ideal picture of a nativized Garlean. Raised in a patrician household, she embodies the stoic femininity that Garlemald fosters. She is a proud patriot, a devoted republican, and a fiercely loyal companion. She is also a very cold and cruel woman with a long history of violence. Hildegard hides her feelings behind codes of conduct and proper etiquette. When stressed or pressured, she reverts her vocabulary from the common slang to formal.Normally Hilde's face is cold, and her sinister visage doesn't help matters. She rarely stands to the left of people, so to spare them the ugly scar that disfigures her face. She always wears gloves, though few know why. Guarded, reserved, and suspicious, she is a difficult character to broach.

Roleplay Do's and Don'ts

  • Do: Open RP is a passion of mine. Walk up to me. Start a fight. Try to flirt. Just do it!

  • Don't: Take it personally. I have a strict no OOC policy. We can clarify and we can plot but what happens in the chatbox stays there.

  • Do: Mature and Dark themes. I am a voracious consumer of drama. The more the better. Make me hurt, I dare you.

  • Do: Long plots! I love a storyline.

  • Don't: Get mad ooc if she shoots you down for ERP. She's married and mean.

Hooks

  • War Past: Domans or Imperials that recognize her. She was an officer in the fight to repress the Domans.

  • Diplomat: As a recognized diplomat, Hildegard can serve as a bridge between the Alliance and the new Senate.

  • Politician: As a Senator, any Garlean looking to curry favor in the new government would do well to be her friend and ally.
